We have stayed in this beautiful villa twice now. We like to have relaxing breaks and to sit on the terrace in the evening and chat as the sun sets over the sea was fantastic. During the day we wandered around the gardens or lazed by the pool. The whole area is very quiet and secluded with first class security for the grounds and villa itself. A trip down the hill took us along some very pretty rural lanes – into Le Castellet one way or to Bandol and the harbour the other. We especially enjoyed golf at the Le Fregate which was only a hop away.
All the fittings and furnishing are high quality and the welcomes that we have had on arrival really make us feel that we are at a special place. I can especially recommend the villa for couples looking to relax, relax, relax!
Alloggiare con mia moglie in questa incantevole villa è stata una delle vacanze più memorabili della mia vita. Situata su una collina dal panorama mozzafiato, la villa è circondata da un giardino disegnato ad opera d’arte. La piscina a sbalzo offre un’opportunità unica per rilassarsi in acqua con la bellissima e frastagliata costa azzurra sull’orizzonte. Grazie alla sua esposizione a sud-ponente, la terrazza permette di cenare con i colori del tramonto. Un’atmosfera idilliaca unica nel suo genere. L’architettura della villa è confortevole, accogliente e più che funzionale, permettendo di cucinare e gustare aperitivi davanti al panorama, con amici e famiglia. La tranquillità regna sovrana. La villa è ben separata dalle altre adiacenti, grazie a bellissimi alberi ma non è così lontana da dare la sensazione di assoluto isolamento. In dieci o massimo venti minuti si possono raggiungere facilmente i monumentali villaggi di Sanary, Le Castellet, Bandol, La Cardiere d’Azur. Durante il periodo estivo queste località si animano di vivaci mercatini sul lungo mare, offrendo ampie possibilità di ristorazione con una gastronomia autentica e un’atmosfera familiare. La villa, per la sua location, architettura e bellezza, è unica nel suo genere. Altamente consigliata per chi vuole passare giorni in rilassatezza senza rinunciare alle spiagge (a volte un po’ affollate) della costa azzurra!
I have visited this lovely estate in La Cadière d’Azur twice and was impressed by it every time. The estate can be imagined like a little oasis on the top of a vineyard. Both the main house and the guesthouse are comfortable and luxuriously furnished. Both are kept in the style and colors of the region, which are mixed with carefully chosen artworks and design pieces. The houses are surrounded by a beautiful garden of local flowers, olive and palm trees and a lush lawn – all surrounding a swimming pool, from within which you can oversee the Mediterranean Sea. The views from the house over the Côte d’Azur and La Cadière d’Azur are unbeatable – and so is the atmosphere at night, when everything is illuminated. Not only La Cadière d’Azur and Bandol are easily reachable by car, but also Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer, Le Castellet, Sanary-sur-Mer, Cassis, and many other precious places. If you decide to stay at the house, it’s a big pleasure eat out on the terrace (with a glass of local wine), have barbecues, sunbath near the pool, or just read on the terrace, while enjoying the panorama.
All in all, I truly cannot imagine that there is anyone who would not love being at this place. The host knows the area and it’s specialties more than well, and will make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your time in this little paradise.
